Fujifilm X-T30 II, as the name makes clear, is a renewal of its previous model (Fujifilm X T30), but we will hardly find any differences between them, they are basically a copy with small improvements that are hardly noticeable. Its design and features remain exactly the same, with only changes in the focusing system and video resolution.

Features
As mentioned, it is an exact copy of the previous model. It should also be noted that it is a very light camera, weighing just 378 grams, its body is compact, although it is not sealed, therefore, we must be careful in the situations in which we use it, as it is not fully protected and can be damaged by moisture, dust or splashes.
On the other hand, it has a 3-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1.62 million dots. It also has touch functionality, and the screen is tiltable (100º upwards / 45º downwards).
The electronic viewfinder has a resolution of 2.36 million dots and a magnification of 0.62x.
Functions
It features a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS sensor, along with a high-speed X-Processor 4 image processor. This set features the highest performance “engines” of the X-Series, as well as exceptional quality and speed.
In terms of speed, the camera has a shutter speed of 8 fps (mechanical shutter) and 30 fps (electronic shutter).
The image sensitivity range is ISO 160 – 12800 (Expandable to ISO 80-51200) allowing imaging in various lighting situations.
It does not have an image stabilizer.
And in terms of connectivity, you can connect or transfer images via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth or physically via USB-C or HDMI. Battery life is approximately 360 shots per charge.
Finally, the brand’s color science applied to film simulations contains up to 18 different types of film simulation tones, which provide amazing depth, saturation and hue.
Approach
The camera features the hybrid AF tracking autofocus system, which has 425 selectable points, by phase detection and contrast detection. It also detects both the subject’s face and eye to keep them in focus at all times, even in near-dark conditions at -7 EV, allowing you to capture fully focused and accurate images, even if they are in motion.
Video
As for video recording, the camera allows high-speed, high-quality recordings in 4K mode at 30p or Full HD at 240p. In which you can make incredible cinematic scenes by combining them with the film simulation offered by the brand, which, as we have already mentioned, contains up to 18 different modes.
Fujifilm X-T30 II review
This new model hardly differs from its “little sister”, we simply find small changes in focusing and video recording. Overall, it is a pretty good camera that provides a number of very adequate functionalities, as well as exceptional quality. The price difference is hardly contemplated, but depending on the place and time we are located this will always vary. In conclusion, I would recommend this camera if you are not going to photograph in unfavorable situations or weather conditions, since it is not sealed and can be damaged, but for everything else, it is ideal.
