Considering that Canon lists this camera as non-professional, we’d say it’s as close as you can get with its features to, say, a SLR. Although to the touch and weight it may seem a fragile camera, it has a grip and robustness that withstands splashes and dust. Amazing continuous shooting at 20 fps in silent mode. A viewfinder capable of seeing the smallest details even at night and for the first time that stabilization is incorporated in the body, there are no complaints, although the advertising of the “up to 8 steps” is questionable. It has a very fast Dual Pixel focusing technology that tracks both the face and eyes, and now also animals, unlike its predecessor, the R5. According to Canon’s website “high frame rate video mode, sound is not recorded”, we assume it is at 120 fps in Full HD and the 4K at 60 fps is saved.
