Construction and Ergonomics of the Canon EOS 4000D
We have a small and light body typical of this entry-level range, losing some of the better quality materials reserved for the big sisters for a plastic that on the one hand reduces the weight and on the other makes it less resistant to shocks. We do not have a folding screen, something that Canon should already incorporate this entry-level range as something basic for the user. Apart from this we have few specific buttons to perform more professional functions, but we can not say that the camera lacks for the price it has. Thanks to its rather low weight we have an indirect improvement in ergonomics.
Focusing the Canon EOS 4000D
The focus is not the strong point of this camera as it is not aimed at an audience that specializes in action or sports photography, we only have nine focus point type cross, so it is a camera more intended for portrait and especially landscape. The burst rate is not good at all, we only have three frames per second, when it is normal to have at least five. In this case, it is very difficult for us to take pictures in unprepared sessions.
Quality and performance of the Canon EOS 4000D
We can say that it is not the best camera in terms of performance at high ISOs, we must always keep in mind that we have an APSC sensor and not the most advanced, so going over ISO 1000 can be a real torture. But therefore the quality offered by the equipment is more than reasonable for the average user, although we do not have a very good dynamic range either. With its 18mpx, the image sharpness is somewhat scarce, which is already outside the current standard of 24mpx,

Having the Canon 2000D, I think this camera is no longer an option. We have a rather old and low resolution sensor that is way off the current 24mpx standards. We also don’t have a good focus and burst so we won’t be able to make many flourishes with it in more sporty photographs. However, it can be a good second-hand purchase if you do not have the money to buy it new.
