Construction and Ergonomics of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
As we know Canon’s professional cameras have a brilliant seal, and they can withstand anything we throw at them. The body of this 5D mark IV is quite similar to the previous version except for some exceptions, although we already tell you that at first glance you can’t even see them. Being a heavy camera of almost a kilo, if we can notice a certain fatigue if we spend all day with it, although thanks to this and how the body is made, its ergonomics is spectacular and can even allow us to take it and work without a strap, although the latter is only recommended to the brave. On the downside, we can see that the burst is somewhat fair, since with only 7 frames per second and taking into account the price of the equipment, it is somewhat unbalanced.
Focusing the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
Although we are not facing the best focus on the market and especially after the release of the Sony A7III for the front, this Canon EOS 5D IV is able to respond in adverse circumstances working with lens and focal multipliers without any problem. In fact, it is one of the cameras most commonly used by wildlife and sports photographers, so you will probably not encounter any problems with its speed.
Quality and performance of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
This is undoubtedly one of the strongest points of this camera, we have a not very large sensor of 30 mpx, but that gives us a response at high ISOs very good and that transmits very well those colors of the skins that so well recreates the Canon brand. Apart from this, its processor works quite well and we will not have problems of overheating or stoppages in photography sessions. So it is undoubtedly a very good choice for wedding photographers.
Dynamic range of the 5D mark IV
The dynamic range of this 5D Mark IV of only 12 stops, was one of the most debated aspects during its presentation and lately the brand hides this information so that photographers do not know the big difference between Canon and Sony. Dynamic range helps us to be able to gather more information from shadows when we expose correctly without using filters or at least to a lesser extent.
Image stabilization on the Canon 5D mark IV
Like many SLRs, the 5D does not have any stabilizer in the sensor or in the image, we only depend on what the optics can provide. As we know this system is very important for those who want to make video in a semi-professional way.
Astrophotography with the Canon 5D mark IV
It is a perfect camera for night photography we have a maximum ISO of 102400 which is quite good and allows us to have a better performance at intermediate ISOS such as 5000 ISO. Besides this, being a full frame camera, it helps us to have a much better performance. It is true that it is perhaps not up to the level of the aids offered by mirrorless equipment that allow us to see perfectly in the dark in some cases and to be able to focus directly on the stars.

Review Canon 5D Mark IV from TuCamara.net
Except for a few exceptions such as burst and dynamic range, the truth is that this Canon 5D mark IV is a very good camera with the reliability that Canon offers us of having equipment that is resistant to almost anything and that we know will last us a long time. Perhaps it has lagged a little behind the Nikon d850, although this one came out a little later. In general if you are Canon and either coming from the previous version or the 6D I think this camera will be up to what you need.
