Features
The 2000D does not have a high speed with 3 fps, it is a type of camera that is created for simple and basic user photography, they are very affordable economically speaking. It is a 24.1 mpx camera, which also has a variety of filters to bring out your most creative side. As for recording, we can use Full HD video at up to 30 fps for 29 min and 59 sec. The Canon 4000D is not considered the ideal camera in terms of performance at high ISOs. Although it presents less resolution than the previous one, with 18mpx of sharpness, the quality offered by the equipment is more than reasonable for the average user, although there is not a very good dynamic range either.
Sensor
Both cameras feature an APS-C sensor, although on the one hand, the Canon 2000D and the Canon 2000D 24.1-megapixel camera with up to 19 times the surface area of most smartphones, for capturing stories with a beautiful out-of-focus background effect, even in low-light conditions. and on the other hand, the Canon 4000D which also easily captures images with a natural background blur effect, even in low light.
Body
The Canon 2000D is a lightweight camera with a good grip very similar to its previous models. Made of materials such as polycarbonate resin with fiberglass and special conductive fiber, it follows the same design style as the EOS. Controls located in the same place, although their input options have been duplicated. 4:3 LCD screen. Its dimensions are 129 x 101.3 x 77.6 mm. However, the Canon 4000D has a small and light body typical of this entry-level range, we lose some better quality materials. It does not have a folding screen. Apart from this, it features few specific buttons to perform more professional functions. Although thanks to its rather low weight we have an indirect improvement in ergonomics.
Approach
In both cameras the focus is not the strong point, as they do not exceed 9 points, so it is justified as a fairly basic setting compared to other models on the market today. Although for a novice user this may be sufficient, it is a camera more intended for portrait and especially landscape. The burst rate is not very good, we only have three frames per second.
Battery
Both the Canon 2000D and the Canon 4000D feature a lithium-ion LP-E10 battery, with a battery life of approximately 500 shots.
Video
With Canon’s two models you can capture SLR-level detail images and cinematic Full HD videos with ease, even in low-light situations, you can capture remotely and share instantly thanks to Wi-Fi and NFC connections, and also the Canon Camera Connect app.
Opinion
If you are a person who feels comfortable with the Canon system, the Canon 2000D is the best entry-level camera. The price is quite economical, thanks to its functions and features it fulfills its function and will help you improve in photography from scratch.
Having the EOS 2000D, I think that the Canon 4000D is no longer an option, as it features a rather old and low resolution sensor that is far from the current 24mpx standards. It can also be a good second-hand purchase if you do not have the money to buy it new.
