Functions
The sensor used in this model is a CMOS type sensor (24×36 mm) of 47 megapixels, together with a MAESTRO processor, which offers amazing image quality.
It is equipped with a 3.68 million dot OLED type electronic viewfinder, which, thanks to its high resolution, allows absolute control over the subject and animals at all times, providing a wide image depth and greater contrast and detail.
We can record at 4K or Full HD video resolution, allowing us to take superb shots.
As for focusing, it makes use of the 49-point contrast-based AF autofocus system, which is more than enough to keep subjects as well as animals in focus at all times, along with face and eye detection.
The battery performs quite well, allowing us to shoot approximately 350 shots per hour.
All these new features put an end to rolling shutter distortion, so images will not appear distorted, and we can obtain an incredible depth of field.
The new Z9 will allow you to create incredible images, with amazing detail, precision and depth, as well as a wide dynamic range, and the ability to bring out any skin tone.
Moreover, it adapts to any workflow. The option of using CFExpress (Type B) cards allows us to double the writing speed of the images. It also has a number of advanced network connectivity options, and it is worth noting that the transfer speeds applied in this camera are the fastest in the industry. It allows us to send the images either via Wifi, Bluetooth, or via a USB cable to a smartphone (it also has GPS).
Features
The design of the camera still maintains that classic and elegant look, while being modern and with a very good quality. The body is easy to handle, as well as light and comfortable, a special thumb rest was used, and the body is surrounded by a sophisticated leather covering.
It is also well prepared for all weather conditions, as it is fully sealed and provides special protection against splashes and dust. With this we can stop worrying about it getting wet or dusty and focus more on getting the best image.
The display is a 3-inch LCD with 1.04 million pixels and touch functionality.
Weighing approximately 652 grams (body only), it is a bit heavy but still comfortable and easy to handle.

Opinion on the Leica Q2
Its price is somewhat high for what it offers, as there are cheaper cameras with more features, although this price is especially due to the high quality of the materials with which this camera is made. Even so, the camera offers high resolution in both photos and videos, and above all reliability. Its body is the most striking feature of this camera, due to its elegant and classic look, together with an impressive resistance.
